Social Networking Policies

Thank you for your interest in connecting with me. I enjoy using social media to connect to old friends, potential clients and business associates. I have set some boundaries so these connections are meaningful and useful to BOTH of us. Hopefully this will help you understand when I or you accept a request to connect on the following:

Facebook.com, Blogspot.com, LinkedIn.com, Ning.com, Nextcat.com, & Twitter.com

I use social media for:

• Keeping in constant contact with business associates

• Staying abreast of an ever changing industry

• Teaching & learning from others

• Making new business associates

• Staying in touch w/family

• Reconnecting with old friends and schoolmates

• Quality of life

The following will violate my connection policy

1. Profanity or sexually explicit content on your profile or news feeds.

2. Flirting. I am married.

3. Recruiters of businesses I don't believe in (i.e. “make $250 in 4 hours guaranteed”)

4. Tweet/Status updates exclusively in a foreign language.

5. Twit-spamming me will get you reported for spam.

6. Auto-DMs on Twitter or excessive game requests on Facebook (i.e., Farmville, Mafia)

7. Your Facebook add request should include a simple, brief explanation.

8. Elicit solicitations of a sexual nature. I have been happily married for over 8 years.
